FIA arrests two illegal currency dealers

PESHAWAR: The Federal Investigation Agency on Wednesday raided a market in Topi area of Swabi and arrested two people for dealing in illegal hundi business.
A statement issued here said that the raid was conducted at Sultan Mohammad Market in the main bazaar. The accused were named Fazal Qamar and his accountant, whowere involved in illegal hundi business.
The statement said that the raiding party also recovered huge Pakistani and foreign currencies, including Rs17 million Pakistan rupee, one million Indian rupee, 12,129 US dollar, 1,000 Canadian dollar, 950,018 Saudiriyal, 3,500 euro 59,970 UAE dirham, 470 Pound sterling, 596 Omani riyal, 20 Kuwaiti dinar, 189 Malaysian ringgit and 5,637 Qatari riyal.
