S H E I K H U P U R A: Three labourers were asphyxiated in a chemical factory on Faisalabad Road on Tuesday.

Labourers were busy in their routine work during which they fell unconscious due to poisonous gas emission. Fagir Hussain and Waqas Masih died in a local hospital while Nazir was shifted toLahore where he passed away.

The labourers` union protested against the incident and said the death of three people was caused by a lack of ventilation.

The Bhiki police launched investigation.

FOUND DEAD: A 25-year-old youngster was found dead near Upper Chenab canal on Tuesday.

The Factory area police took the body into custody started investigation.
