FAISALABAD: The Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment has selected `top 20 cases` to retrieve billions of rupees plundered from the national exchequer.
Chairing a departmental meeting here on Thursday, Punjab ACE Director General Muzaffar Ali Ranjah said staff would be imparted quality training especially in eliminating white collar crimes.
He said quick disposal desks had been set up in all regional anticorruption offices for providing relief to complainants.
He said the ACE employees would not be spared if they were found involvedin any kind of corruption or irregularities.
He said buildings of regional anti-corruption establishment would be constructed in which residential accommodation for officers and anti-corruption police stations would be available.
He said new vehicles for the regional offices were also being purchased at a cost of Rs281.326 million.
He said priorities had been set for safeguarding the national exchequer, checking the departmental irregularities, ensuring transparency in public welfare projects and accountability of corrupt government servants.
He warned the employees that favouritism would not be tolerated in inquiries.
