QUETTA: A man was killed and another injured in a landmine blast in Mawand area of Kohlu district on Sunday.
Levies officials said that the two men were going somewhere on a motorcycle when it hit a landmine planted by unidentified people on the road.
They said the motorcyclist, identified as Molvi Shambo, died on the spot. Sahib Khan, who was sitting behind him, suffered critical injuries.
After receiving information about the incident Levies and FC personnel rushed to the area and shifted the injured to the district headquarters hospital.
