Allergy centre

2018-02-24
I RECENTLY went to Allergy Centre, Islamabad, for my follow-up after 12 weeks of vaccination. I approached the reception and waited for my turn as there was a long queue.

Eventually, the receptionist asked for my particulars, gave me a form, and told me to go to another room.

When I entered the room, the person there asked me to give him the form. I handed him the form. He neither inquired anything nor performed any test, and wrote a 30pc improvement on the form.

I was shocked as I wasn`t the only one with whom he did this. It was a common practice there. He was writing the same for every patient. He told me to deposit Rs500 vaccination fee and asked me to collect my vaccine.

Thousands of patients go there on a daily basis for allergy treatment and all of them are treated in the same unprofessional manner.

I request the authorities concerned to take corrective measures.
