THE Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has presented something valuable to Pakistan by launching the billion tree tsunami project.
This project has been appreciated by variousinternationalorganisations. The project is estimated to be equivalent to 40 Changa Manga jungles of Punjab and will contribute to a healthy environment.
However, the opposition parties, mainly the PML-N, have rejected the plantation of the trees and called the claim baseless.
Critics are welcomed. But we have critics who only focus on point-scoring.
In other words, they are rejecting the appreciation of the project by independentinternational organisations.
Such projects are imperative for the betterment of our future generations.
