Pakistan sends relief goods for Palestinians

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has dispatched another consignment of humanitarian relief comprising daily use commodities for the war-affected people of Palestine.
This shipment is part of the country`s ongoing humanitarian efforts and marks the 25th overall relief consignment sent to the people of Middle East affected by Israeli aggression.
The latest consignment, sent in collaboration with Al-Khidmat Foundation, comprises approximately 100 tonnes of essential relief supplies, including bell tents, winterised tents, tarpaulin sheets and medical tools.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) dispatched the relief goods for Palestine, reinforcing the nation`s unwavering support for the people of Gaza.
Overall, Pakistan has dispatched 1,961 tonnes of humanitarian aid, including 372 tons for Lebanon and 111 tons for Syria.
This shows Pakistan remains steadfast in its commitment to standing with the people of Palestine and it will continue to provide humanitarian assistance based on the evolving needs of those affected by the ongoing crisis.
The aid was transported via a chartered flight from Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, to El Arish International Airport, Egypt, for onward delivery to Gaza. With this shipment, Pakistan has dispatched a total of 1,478 tons of relief aid exclusively for Palestine, demonstrating the country`s continued commitment to supporting the people of Gaza in these difficult times.
