THE passport office at Hyderabad is situated on main T.M. Khan Road out of the city. It costs people both time and money to reach there. Moreover, there are no counters for women, senior citizens and government employees. Also , there are no seating arrangements, no drinking facilities and photocopying machines on the premises.
The 20 members staff is not able to cope with the people who come here from 14 districts. All this causes inordinate delay, extrarush ofvisitors andinconvenience to passport-seekers.
The authorities concerned should take take notice of the passport-seekers and set up passport offices in each district of Sindh.
