RAHIM YAR KHAN: Funeral prayers of former Capital City Police Officer of Lahore Muhammad Umar Sheikh were offered at his native town Khanpur, 45km from here, on Thursday.

A large number of people from different walks of life attended the funeral prayers at the College Ground.

Sheikh was presently serving as a member the Federal Ombudsperson office. He was rushed to the National Hospital in Lahore on Wednesday evening after chest pain where he died shortly.
