he students of Westminster School and College celebrated Annual Sports Day here at Pakistan Sports Complex and enthusiastically participated in the events.

Hundreds of students participated in this spectacular event while the enthusiastic spectators cheered on. The event started with an impressive march past. Other highlights of the event included races and field events such as the 30, 50 and 100 metre races, relay race, sack race, threelegged race, egg spoon race, long jump, javelin throw and shot put.

The audience members, most of whom were parents of students, were delighted to see the karate show and energetic performances by the young cheerleaders and gymnasts, which showcased dexterity, precision and synchronisation. The event successfully concluded with a spirited tug of war competition.

`The school`s annual sports day is one of the most cherished events of the institute, whereby our students get an opportunity to showcase their talents. I believe it an essential to keep our youth continually engaged in healthy physical activities,` said Mr.Raheel Sajjad Khan, the director of the school.
