TAXILA: Two persons were killed in different incidents in the jurisdiction of Taxila and Hazro police stations on Wednesday, police sources said.

In the first incident, a transgender person died of electrocution in the limits of Taxila police station.

According to police sources, Ahsan alias Kiran was standing at a bus terminal when he accidentally stepped on the live wire and suffered a fatal electric shock, and died on the spot. His body was shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for autopsy.

Separately, a man gunned down his nephew over a family dispute in Mullah Kalan village in the limits of Hazro police station.

Police sources said the man married the daughter of his uncle and moved to Swabi, however, the rela-tionship between the couple became strained, after which the girl returned to her parents` house.

On Wednesday, when the man came to his inlaws` house to take his wife back, his uncle, a hotel owner, after a heated exchange, took out his pistol and shot him dead and fled away. Respective police stations registered cases and launched further investigations.

Meanwhile, Pindigheb police on Wednesday arrested a suspect who allegedly molested an eight-year-old boy.

The suspect took the boy who was returning from school and molested him.

When he returned home, he revealed his ordeal to his family, who took him to the police station.

Medical examination of the boy was conducted which confirmed the assault. Police have registered a case against the suspect and sent him behind bars.
