PM`s aide interacts with influencers, outlines youth-focused initiatives

ISLAMABAD: Chairman of the Prime Minister`s Youth Programme (PMYP) Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan has said the incumbent government is committed to empowering the younger generation through meaningful initiatives.
The prime minister`s aide described some of the key initiatives, including the National Volunteer Corps, aimed at unlocking the immense untapped potential of Pakistan`s youth.
He said digital youth hub was launched last month, and so far, as many as 1,022,424 young individuals had downloaded the Prime Minister`sYouth Programme application.
After youth engagement, education will be the next major priority area, Rana Mashhood told a meeting of youth influencers at the Prime Minister`s Office on Wednesday. Key initiatives discussed during the meeting included youth loans, establishing ideas and incubation centres, development of E-sports and Pakistan`s strategic planning for participation in the 2028 Olympics.
Influencers were encouraged to use their platforms responsibly and deliver the message of hope and positivity among the youth, he advised.
The meeting created an atmosphere of openness and transparency, emphasising collectiveresponsibility and welcoming constructive criticism.
The meeting brought together around 20 youth influencers from various cities across Pakistan, alongside members of the PMYP team. Adding an international dimension to the gathering, a Nigerian influencer also participated, offering a valuable global perspective.
The session was highly productive, focusing on youth empowerment and engagement initiatives.
