KARACHI: All educational institutions in Sindh will remain closed indefinitely, according to a notification issued by Sindh government’s school education and literacy department on Sunday.

It said that in pursuance of the decision taken in the meeting of the provincial task force on May 22, 2021, and in view of the alarming situation of Covid-19 in the province, the suspension of classroom teaching and learning activities from early childhood education to class-XII at all public and private institutions under the administrative control of the department was hereby being extended till further orders.

It allowed heads of the institutions to call a minimum staff to the school on a rotation basis for managing home learning activities through online classes in order to cover the syllabus.—Staff Reporter
