TAXILA: Police on Tuesday resolved the murder case of a man whose brother allegedly turned out to be the main suspect.
He confessed to police that he committed the crime over a domestic dispute.
The victim was found dead in the courtyard of his house in Dhoke Nooran in the jurisdiction of Taxila police station on May 16. According to a police spokesman, Mohammad Khazir was found dead in the courtyard of his house when he was sleeping there alone.
Police registered a murder case against unknown persons.
Later, a police team led by Station House Officer (SHO) Sarmad Ilyas investigated the matter and after getting some clues through digital and human intelligence took into custody the younger brother of the deceased, who during interrogation, confessed to killing his brother over a domestic dispute.
