Pharmacy looted, man robbed of Rs3m

TAXILA: A pharmacy was looted while a citizen was robbed of cash and valuables worth Rs3.1 million in in the limits of Taxila and Hassanabdal police.

According to police sources, four armed men entered a pharmacy located on HMC road near Nehar stop and held the staff and customers at gunpoint. They snatched cash and mobile phones worth Rs0.4 million from all the persons and the cash counter and fled.

Separately, a man was robbed of cash and gold ornaments worth Rs3.10 million in the limits of Hassanabdal police. Hazrat Mir Khan reported to police that he was going home after drawing Rs1 million and gold ornaments worth Rs2.10 million when two masked men riding a motorcycle intercepted him and at gunpoint snatched the bag.

Moreover, a married woman was abducted by three persons in the limits of the same police station. A citizen reported to police that his wife was alone at her house when a man along with his two companions abducted her. Correspondent
