OKARA: The shooting between two rival groups left 12 people, including three women, injured at village Nanga Singh near Mandi Ahmadabad.
As per Rescue 1122 after information the teams rushed on the spot and shifted all injured to the Rural Health Centre (RHC) at Mandi Ahmadabad.
The police arrested four persons, namely Shahzad, Shoban,Abrar and Hanif, but the first information report was yet to be registered as both groups had to file complaints against each other.
However, DPO Muhammad Rashid Hidayat took notice of the incident and directed the area police station SHO to deal with the incident on priority.
FUNDS: Federal Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar on the request of MNA Chaudhry Riazul Haq Juj granted Rs6m for renovation of the district bar association`s Quaid-e-Azam Bar Hall and other structures.
DBA President Muhammad Asghar Khan along with bar senior members received the cheque from the minister.
Similarly, Mr Juj got approval of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) police station for divisional headquarters Sahiwal.
Funds have been approved and its construction will be commenced after approval of the coming 2025-26 fiscal year.
Now, the people of Sahiwal division go to Faisalabad for FIA-related matters.
