GUJRANWALA: The Federal Investigation Agency ( FIA) registered a case against Fazal Shah, the owner of a CNG filling station, for gas theft on Tuesday.
A joint team of FIA and Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited officials raided the ASA CNG filling station a few days ago and removed the meter and a pipe for forensic examination.
Officials say Rs200 million gas has been stolen in the last eight years.
DEATH: Additional District and Sessions Court Judge Abdul Qayyum Khan handed down death and a Rs500,000 fine to an accused in a murder caseon Tuesday.
According to the prosecution, Faisal killed his neighbour Usman on May 23, 2012. Model Town police registered a case.
REMAND: The AntiTerrorism Court judge on Tuesday extended the physical remand of three accused for seven days in the murder case of MPA Rana Shamshad.
Shamshad, his son Rana ShehbazandfriendShakir Mehmood were shot at and killed on May 31.
Police registered a case but failed to arrest Rafique Virk, Shahbaz Virk, Sarfraz Virk and their father Fageer Muhammad.
Police arrested Shahbaz, Awais and Saifullah, who confessed to committing the murders.
