SARGODHA: Two men were arrested after Kundian forest department officials seized two vehicles laden with stolen timber.

As per officials, a team of Kundian forest department led by sub divisional forest officer seized a pickup and a mini truck laden with stolen timber and arrested two suspects for the theft.

WOMEN BEATEN: Three women were allegedly beaten, dragged and humiliated by six men over a minor dispute in Morani South area in the suburbs of Bhakkar city.

As per a victim, Mehran Bibi, six suspects entered her house and tortured her and two other women (her daughter and a pregnant daughter-in-law), besides dragging them by their hair and tearing their clothes.

She alleged that the suspects also burnt some of the household items, adding that her pregnant daughterin-law fell unconscious because of the torture.

She alleged that the suspects are influential and on good terms with some policeofficials, so no action is being taken against them.

MURDERED: A youth allegedly murdered his elder brother over a domestic dispute.According to police sources, the suspect, Nasir, got angry over some domestic issue andshot his elder brother Yasir (28), who died on the spot.

Meanwhile, a motorcycle mechanic, Saleem was electrocuted while working on a welding plant at Shah Nakdar village.-Correspondent
