Three siblings die after consuming `expired` medicine

MANSEHRA: Three siblings were killed after they took an expired medicine in Sakian village of Siren valley here on Sunday, doctors and family said.
The children of Aurangzeb, including Sakina Bibi, 14, her younger sister Ramisha, 7, and brother Sajjad were taken to civil hospital in Shinkiari, in critical condition, but they died there one after another.
Condition of the children deteriorated and they fell unconscious after consuming the medicine.
According to hospital sources all the three children were killed after they took an expired medicine.
The bodies were handed over to family members after completion of the autopsy at the hospital.
Aurangzeb, the aggrieved father lodged FIR with the Shinkiari police station, stating that he had bought the deworming medicine from a grocery shop of Mohammad Riaz in Munda Gucha area, which claimed lives of his children. He said that according to the doctors his children used medicine which reacted like poison as just after taking the substance his children started vomiting.
