MUZAFFARGARH: Ten members of the Bakho gang were arrested by police on Tuesday during a search operation, led by the Alipur deputy superintendent of police.

The Bakho gang was wanted for multiple cases to the Muzaffargarh police.

District Police Officer Sadiq Ali Dogar said that 36 suspects had been arrestedin asearchoperation in four tehsils of Muzaffargarh in the ongoing operation.

DSP Rashid said they seized illegal weapons, charas, and liquor from the gang. He said thesecriminals were also involved in street crimes.

Also, the DPO inaugurated a women`s desk in Civil Lines police station where females will be facilitied by female staff.

DPO Dogar said females facing domestic problems could come to the police st ation without any hesit ation and their problems would be resolved by women police officials. He also made a conciliatory committee consisting of the people of good repute and they would also resolve the problems of the people in police stations. Correspondent
