Katy Perry is in negotiations to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 10, ahead of her new album, 143. This would be her first VMAs performance since 2019.

Details are still beingfinalised, but Perry`s return is highly anticipated. The event will take place at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.

Taylor Swift leads the nominations this year with 10 nods, including for Video of the Year and Artist of the Year.
