LAHORE: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has decided to celebrate the passage of the 26th amendment by holding a march in the Punjab capital.

Entitled ‘Parliament’s Supremacy March’, the event will be held on Oct 31, a party meeting decided on Wednesday.

A 15-member organising committee led by the PPP’s Punjab chapter Secretary General Syed Hassan Murtaza has been formed to make preparations for the march likely to be held from Charing Cross on The Mall to the Shimla Pahari intersection.—Staff Reporter
