TANK: A suspected terrorist was killed during an encounter with police in the Sherikhel area of Tanl( district on Saturday.

Sources said that a police party patrolling the area challenged some suspected terrorists going on motorcycles in Sherikhel area, but they opened fire on the police.

During the exchange of fire, a terrorist identified as Aamir was killed. He was wanted to the police in acts of terrorism, murder and attempt to murder, the sources said.

They said the exchange of fire between the police and the terrorists continued for an hour.
