DERA MURAD JAMALI: A gas pipeline in Pirkoh field was blown up on Tuesday, suspending supply to a purification plant for the second time in four days.

Militants had planted an improvised explosive device under the pipeline which they detonated by remote control.

`The powerful explosion blew up the pipeline of 8 inches diameter, suspending gas supply to the purification plant from well 15,` Levies officials said.

Meanwhile, four people, including two children, were injured in two landmine explosions in Dera Bugti.

The landmines planted at two places on the outskirts of Dera Bugti town went off, injuring two children and two others, the officials said, adding that security personnel shifted the injured to the district hospital.
