THIS is apropos your editorial `Attack on media team` (Dec 18). First, with bigger, severer and more appropriate issues of the date, a newspaper like yours chose to write `yet again` on an issue that is being pushed more to the magnanimity than it actually is.
Not that it isn`t an issue, but just not in a way it is being architectured.
As a woman and as a beginner in the field of journalism, I know how hard it is to survive, not because of a particular political party`s handful of mischiefs but because of the societal norms we embrace and live with.
Secondly, every political party has people who go a bit too far be it pelting empty bottles or egg/tomato shelling which party leaderships have little to do with.
Traits and tendencies like these are inculcated over time by the political and social culture. If anything, that culture needs attention and intention (for amends).
