Beyond evil

2014-12-24
THIS letter is dedicated to the memory of those who lost their lives to blatant terrorism. Death was not called for, nor did they deserve it. It was not even Satan`s work but the doing of something beyond evil, hatred and blasphemy.

Teachers and students were targeted and just imagine the high probability of either of us being victims.

It was just another happy day at school. Some were appearing in examinations, while others were enjoying activities unaware of the terrible fate that awaited them and took themcompletely by surprise.

When you come to school every day, remember those who paid the price of their innocence. Remember their ambitions which are deep buried now and the dreams which turned into ashes.

Remember the despair and longing in the eyes of mothers and fathers who received bodies drenched in blood.

Remember to be good to others. Remember that you now hold the key to a future free of terrorism and violence. Remember that you are the factors of change and only you can be a remedy for this injured and battered nation. Consider this tragedy as a lesson which will teach you the value of life.
