TOBA TEK SINGH: Former federal minister for information Fawad Chaudhry has demanded release of PTI founder Imran Khan and all political prisoners.

Talking to media in Faisalabad on Monday, outside an anti-terrorism court (ATC) after appearing in a May 9 case against him, he said the appearing in courts was a routine for him.

He revealed that one of the cases registered against him was on the charge of stealing charpoys.

He claimed that after the ouster of PTI government in 2022, at least 100,000 raids were conducted at the houses of PTI leaders and activists by the police.

He said the Sharifs, their party and YouTubers was beneficiaries of the conflict between PTI founder and the establishment.

He backed talks between the government and PTI.

He said that those who were maligning Pakistan army could not be tolerated.
