BAHAWALPUR: A man, Waseem Murad, allegedly murdered his three aunts-Sham Bibi, Parveen Bibi and Shaheen Bibi-in their house in Basti Karna, in the limits of the Civil Lines police, on Wednesday.

The police said they arrested the suspectwithin half an hour, while the police crime unit and forensic unit collected evidence from the scene and shifted the bodies to the morgue of the Bahawal Victoria Hospital for postmortem examinations.

The police said that during preliminary interrogation, the suspect said he killed his aunts just in a fit of rage.

The Civil Lines policehave yet to register a murder case as a complaint from the family of the deceased women was not filed yet.
