SUKKUR: A man allegedly shot dead his 16-year-old niece and her acquaintance in the name of honour in Rabnawaz Marfani village within the limits of the Jahan Wah police station of Garhi Yasin taluka in Shikarpur district on Monday.

According to the police, Younus Marfani suspected that the victims, Sardar Khatoon, and Ali Dost Marfani, 18, had been maintaining a romantic affair.

The suspect fled the village after committing the double murder, they said.
