Postmortem report confirms Christian youth was tortured

SIALKOT: Police have unveiled the postmortem report of a Christian youth, whose body was found in village ManjkeyBadiana, Pasrur, on Jan 23.
According to the report, he was tortured to death, and the police suspect he was 1(illed by the family of his social media friend, Naila Masih.
The Badiana police could not arrest Naila Masih, her brother Babar Masih and father Khalid Masih in the case, saying the family had fled after locking up their house in Sambrial.
Police say the resident of Naumania Road in Gujranwala, Sharoon Masih, 22 met Naila, 26,travel agent, on a social media site one year ago and soon became friend.
Sharoon`s family say he went to see Naila in January with Rs1.2 million for a business project and never returned.
On Jan 23, his petrified body was found in the fields.
Police identified the body with the help fingerprints.
Senior police officials said Naila`s family had a record of crimes, as more than 45 cases were registered against Naila, her brothers Sagar Masih and Babar Masih and father Khalid Masih with Sialkot, Gujranwala, Lalamusa, Kharian and Islamabad police stations.
Sagar was killed in an encounter with Gujratpolice in 2016.
According to police, Naila had fled the country and they had contacted Interpol to extradite her from Nepal.
Police had also seized clothes, a bag and other personal belongings of Sharoon from Naila`s house.
HELD: The Bambaanwala police have busted a four-member inter-district gang of dacoits and rustlers.
Sub-Inspector Gulzar Khan said they had arrested Jamil, alias Jeela (ring leader), Asif Bashir, Aslam Yaqub and Sajawal, wanted in dozens of the cases.
Police seized seven buffaloes, one donkey and cart, three pistols and thousands of rupees from them.
