KARACHI: Sindh Chief Secretary Rizwan Memon on Wednesday asked all relevant ministries and divisional commissioners to ensure foolproof arrangements to combat the monsoon, which is expected to be harsherthis season.

Presiding over a meeting, Mr Memon ordered for cleanliness of major streams, drains and nullahs.

He also asked the relevant authorities to ensure provision of potable water, better sanitation, and availability of staff, medicines and better treatment facilities at hospitals.
