MUZAFFARGARH: The nursing department of Recepe Tayyab Erdogan Hospital on Wednesday organised a seminar titled `Our nurses our f uture` in order to highlight the importance of nursing services in the health sector.

Faculty Chair Dr Shiraz Hasan Bhatta, Head of Operations Waqar Ahmed, Deputy Manager HR Muhammad Umar Khan, doctors, nurses and allied staff participated in the seminar.

Manager Nursing Yasmin Siraj cut the cake and the nurses reiterated their pledge by lighting candles.

Addressing the ceremony, Faculty Chair Dr Shiraz Hassan said: `Undoubtedly, the nursing department is the backbone of the hospital and the professional services of nurses cannot be neglected.

Waqar Ahmed said it would be more appropriate to call nursing services as nursing care services because nursing care is one of the most important pillars of the hospital.
