DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Three members of a family were killed when a passenger bus and a car collided near Pusha Bridge on DeraBannu Road here on Friday, the police said.

A police official said a car coming from Pusha Bridge to Dera Ismail Khan city collided with a passenger bus coming from the opposite direction. As a result, three persons travelling in the car died on the spot.

They belonged to the same family.

According to the police, the victims were identified as Shamranullah, 35, Farhadullah, 40, and Anwar, 22.

Police said all the victims hailed from the Mirali area of North Waziristan. They were currently residing near Pusha Pul, DI Khan.

The Yarik police registered a case against an unidentified driver of the passenger bus on the report of Shahbaz, a relative of the deceased.-Correspondent
