MUZAFFA RGA RH: The Punjab government is working on a plan to upgrade Burewala, presently a tehsil of Vehari, as another district of the Multan division.

The Board of Revenue, through a June 23 letter, has sought a detailed report on the revenue data of Burewala from the Multan commissioner and Vehari deputy commissioner.

The letter says the `competent authority has desired the following information of upgrade of tehsil Burewala as new district of Multan division.

The BoR has also sought details of land and buildings and existing staff working in health, public health, education and patwar circles.
