PARACHINAR, July 24: Activists of Imamia Students Organisation and tribal elders have held a protest demonstration against attack on the holy shrine of Hazrat Bibi Zainab in Damascus.
The rally was addressed by the ISO divisional president Iqtidar Ali Shaban and Allama Baqir Haideri. They condemned the attack and said that such a cowardly act would not dent the determination of Muslim Ummah.
They called upon the Muslims to forge unity to foil conspiracies being hatched against the Islamic Ummah.
ADMISSIONS: The administrators of government and private educational institutions in Kurram Agency have appealed to the court to review its decision of college admissions in September.
Usually, the admissions to colleges in Kurram Agency are being made in June/July and as such the new session begins early compared to settled areas in rest of the country.
They said that in colder areas the winter vacations started from December 15 and annual examinations are held in March. They said that if the new classes started after September in Kurram then the students would have hardly just two and a half months to complete their courses.
In such a situation the students would not be able to take exams. -Correspondent
