CHINIOT: A man killed his infant son over a dispute with his wife at village Thatti Balaraja in tehsil Lalian on Monday.

Sarfraz Ahmad was married to Rukhsana some two years back and they had a three-monthold son, Shah Zain.

Sarfraz would often beat his wife over petty issues.

Rukhsana called herbrothers, Pervaiz and Iftikhar, to talk to her husband. When her brothers arrived, they asked Sarfraz to mend his ways but he got enraged, threatening to leave his wife and kill their son.

He snatched the baby from his wife and strangled him with his hands.

Muhammadwala police registered a case under Section 302 of the PPC on the complaint of Pervaiz, the brother of Rukhsana.
