BADIN: An enraged mob torched a coach after it ran over a Qingqi rickshaw and killed its driver on Thar Highway near Suny Gony Bus Stop, 14 km from here, on Thursday.

The rickshaw driver, Sajjad Soomro, died on the spot and the coach driver fled before relatives of the deceased arrived at the scene and set the bus on fire.

All the passengers had already safely exited the vehicle.

Eyewitnesses blamed the speeding bus for the accident.

No government official, nor any personnel of fire brigade rushed to the scene to put out flames of the burning vehicle. The fire died out at its pace after consuming the entire coach.-Correspondent
