THE NA-120 contest has become a bit more complicated. The PML-N candidate, Kulsoom Nawaz, is now handicapped with her illness. This might become a major factor in her defeat or victory. This news might work both ways.
In comparison to her candidacy, Dr Yasmeen Rashid is a strong and formidable candidate. Her chances of winning the seat have brightened. She might get a walkover. It will be a cakewalk for her. Tragically she is suffering from throat cancer. She underwent some medical tests and was diagnosed with cancer, though it is curable and not malignant. Our sympathies are with Kulsoom. We sincerely pray for her good health and speedy recovery.
