he British Council hosted a policy dialogue on future leaders in collaboration with Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialisation and the Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) on Thursday.
The aim of the event was prepare the next generation of leaders and motivate students to acquire necessary skills, connect with people across the world and be able to respond to change with effective policy making.
The panel members at the dialogue were secretary Speakers` Chamber at the National Assembly Secretariat Syed Shamoon Hashmi, FJWU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Samina Amin Qadir and president Special Talent Exchange Programme Atif Sheikh.
Mr Hashmi encouraged students to take interest in politics and also discussed major global policy issues. He said the skills, experience and connections they will make via Future Leaders Connect will support them and help them make use of their potential.
