Pakistan hosted the World Chief Information Officer (CIO) Summit & Awards 2025 Pakistan Edition in Karachi on August 23, a press release stated.

Over 50 CIOs of Pakistan`s top companies were recognised with awards for their contribution to the industry and the country alike. Among these, the eight best CIOs will represent Pakistan at the World CIO Summit Global Edition to be held in Egypt.

Syed Abdul Qadir, the co-organiser of the event, stated that the summit builds on last year`s success, where over 600 professionals came together to share ideas, spark collaborations, and celebrate excellence. This year nearly 800 professionals participated in the event carrying the theme `Dawn of a New Decade`.m
