GUJRAT: The University of Gujrat`s Quaid-e-Azam Library has launched a special Seeratun Nabi (PBUH) book exhibition to mark the holy month of Rabiul Awwal.

Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zahoorul Haq inaugurated the exhibition and said that Seerat literature can inspire youth and shape national character.

He also announced plans for a `Centre for Human Excellence` within the library.

The exhibition features works on Seerat by Eastern and Western scholars, alongside PhD and MPhil theses.

The VC suggested uploading these research papers to the university website.

He urged inviting college students, especially at intermediate level, to visit the exhibition and familiarise themselves with the university environment.

Originally scheduled for five days, the exhibition will now continue until Sept 30 to increase student participation.

Sheikh Abdul Rashid added that the Kids` Centre is being renovated and re-activated, while future plans include dedicated sections on Seerat, Quaid-e-Azam, Allama Iqbal and other national leaders, turning the library into a true community outreach hub.
