NOWSHERA, Oct 24: Unknown assailants on Thursday shot dead three friends at Ghala Dair area here.

Police after being informed that three bodies were lying at Ghala Dair reached the spot and shifted the bodies to district headquarters hospital for autopsy.

Later, the bodies were identified as Niaz Gul, son of Wali Gul, Jehanzeb, son of Sadiq, and Fazal Zaman, son of Khursheed. All the three were stated to be friends.

However, relatives of the deceased didn`t name any one in the FIR registered with the Nowshera Kalan police station.

The motive behind the killing was yet to be known. Correspondent
