QUETTA: The secretary general of Awami National Party-Wali (ANPWali), Aurangzeb Kasi, has condemned the proposal for setting up of military courts and said it is against democratic and political perceptions as well as an acknowledgement that the judicial system in the country has failed.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, Mr Kasi said that under no circumstances his party would accept the trial of the accused by military courts.
He said the political parties supporting military operations and military courts were actually reposing no-trust in democracy.
He said the political parties that got mandate in 2008 and 2013 polls through what he called the blessings of the establishment had no option but to endorse each and everything suggested by the establishment.
