SHEIKHUPURA: Two motorcyclists were run over and 1(illed by an express train here on Wednesday near Faroogabad railway crossing.

Reports said Ghafoor and Mansha of Madar village were on their way to Faroogabad city by a motorbike.

The railway crossing had been closed for arrival of the Lahorebound train. Instead of waiting for the passage of the train, the bikers tried to cross the track from another spot. The train hit them, killing them on the spot.

Railway police handed over bodies to the families.
