KARACHI: Pak Elektron Ltd (PEL) has entered into a strategic partnership with Electrolux AB, a global leader in multi-category home appliances with operations in over 120 countries and annual sales exceeding approximately $11 billion.

This partnership will redefine the home appliance market in Pakistan, offering consumers premium products, remarked Murad Saigol of PEL.

Hydrocarbon discovery Mari Energies Ltd (MEL) has made a gas/condensate discovery at the Spinwam-1, exploration well, drilled in the Waziristan Block, located in North Waziristan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In a stock filing, MEL said initial pre-acid testing has shown a flow of 12.96 mmsefd of gas and approximately 20 barrels per day of condensate.
