Getting good marks

2018-03-26
THE examinations for Class IX and matriculation are to start soon. All parents must be anxious to see their children getting good grades in these examinations.

But we must remember that among these students there may be an artist, who doesn`t need to understand mathematics; an entrepreneur who doesn`t care about history or English literature.

There may be a musician whose chemistry marks won`t matter or an athlete whose physical fitness is more important than physics.

I will advise parents if their children achieve top marks, it will be great. But if they don`t, please don`t shatter their self-confidence and dignity. Tell them it is okay and they were just examinations.

Perhaps they are born to do much bigger things in life rather than just getting good grades. Tell your children no matter what they score, you love them and will not judge them by their marks.

When parents will do this, they will watch their children conquer the world.

Average grades or low marks won`t snatchtheir dreams and take their talent away.

Parents should remember that doctors and engineers are not the only ones happy in the world.
