RAWALPINDI: Deputy Commissioner Dr. Hasan Waqar Cheema on Saturday said citizens who have received a 10kg bag of nour under the free flour scheme of the Punjab government will be able to get two bags of 10kg flour together after10 days.
He said that steps are being taken to implement this directive of Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Rawalpindi district as well.
He stated this while visiting the free wheat flour point established in Liaquat Bagh.
Deputy Commissioner Hasan Waqar Cheema said that more than 500,000 people in Rawalpindi will be provided three bags of 10kg flour under the free wheat flour scheme of the Punjab government and this target will be completed by Ramazan 25.
He said that despite the rain, the supply of flour is continuing without interruption so that thecitizens can benefit from this welfare programme.
He said 11 points have been set up in Rawalpindi district for delivery of free wheat flour while there is at least one point in every tehsil in which two counters have been established separately for men and women.
Deputy Commissioner Hasan Waqar Cheema said apart from 10 points, 232 truck points have also been established. Staff Reporter
