LAHORE: Chaudhry Ashig Ali was elected as president of the All Pakistan Newspaper Sellers Federation on Saturday.

The federation meeting was held in Islamabad and it was chaired by its lifetime general secretary, Tika Khan Abbasi. The meeting unanimously elected Chaudhry Ashig Ali as president of the federation.

Tika Khan Abbasi congratulated the new president and hoped that he would work for the betterment of the federation like the previous office-bearers did.

He said the president would implement the constitution of the federation and would also take part in its activities regularly.

The newly-elected president thanked all the federation and said he would work for the betterment of the union and welfare of its members.-Staff Reporter
