Multan courts to be shifted to judicial complex

MULTAN: District Coordination Officer Zahid Saleem Gondal said on Thursday that to resolve traf fic-related issues in the city, courts would be shifted to the newly-constructed judicial complex after removing reservations of legal fraternity.

Talking to the media, he said traf fic chaos increased due to the existence of courts in the middle of the city.

He said that the legal fraternity was divided over the issue, however Governor Malik Rafiq Rajwana had been requested to play his role for the shifting of the courts to the newlyconstructed judicial complex.

He said that Ramzan bazaar at Dera Adda Chowk would be shifted to Qasim Bela. He said a Ramzan bazaar would also be established at Old Shujabad Road.

He said that the district government was making all out efforts to resolve the issues the people were facing.

He said that all development projects in the district had been completed within the stipulated time during the ongoing fiscal year.

He said that Parks and Horticulture Authority in Multan was new institution and it would take time to bring it at par with the PHA in Lahore.
