QUETTA: Levies personnel foiled a terrorist attack by seizing a cache of arms and ammunition dumped in a hideout in Kohlu district on Wednesday, official sources said.

Security personnel carried out a search operation in the Miwand area of Kohlu and seized large quantities of illegal arms and ammunition. `The cache was dumped for carrying out a subversive act in different areas of Kohlu district,` the deputy commissioner of Kohlu said, adding the suspects managed to escape before security forces reached the hideout.-Staff Correspondent
